The personal finance guru Dave Ramsey has said, “When getting help with money, whether it’s insurance, real estate, or investments, you should always look for someone with the heart of a teacher, not the heart of a salesman.”
I couldn’t agree more.
I began my career as a high school teacher, and I still have a passion for teaching and learning. As a real estate broker, I know my clients don’t need someone to convince them to buy or sell; what they need is someone to educate them, counsel them, and help them make the best decision possible. As a realtor, I am a facilitator, negotiator, counselor, and fiduciary—but rarely, if ever, a salesman.
I live in West Linn and I am plugged into that micro-market, as well as other surrounding communities in Clackamas County. I am also well-versed in other Portland neighborhoods and suburbs—from Wilsonville to North Portland, and Forest Grove to the Gorge.
I am happily married with 3 young children, and enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and reading history and memoirs. I take pride in giving back, and do so as the current Board President for a local non-profit called Historic Willamette: A Main Street Community. We promote economic vitality and development in West Linn’s historic business district and surrounding neighborhoods.
